I feel fortunate…
Really… With my upset stomach setting me back, I was surprised to actually make it this far…
I’m writing this from Joshimath, A hamlet near Badrinath. This is popular among trekkers, being the Base Camp for Auli, Kedar, Badri and Even Goumukh.
Yesterday I left Delhi in about 11 PM, Reaching Haridwar @5 AM and Risikesh @6. I caught the Bus for Joshimath from Risikesh instead of Haridwar, as Risikesh-Joshimath Buses Has Higher Frequency…
But this Bus journey took all the Energy I had left…
A 11 Hours Long Bus Journey Under The Sun when you are sitting on top of bottom suspension; is unbearable to Say the least…

Joshimath or Jyotirmath was my stop for today; and I reached there around 6. Checking in the TRH (Tourist Rest House) was easy. The GMVNL guest houses are cheap, cleaner than most, And the Do Accept online booking.

After having the long-awaited bath of the day, I was feeling much better, and met my roommates, who are from Haridwar, a group of 6 and Coming back from Kedarnath only to Leave for Badrinath tomorrow.
Today, as I’ve said earlier, last day of motoring for me, from tomorrow, the Trek begins…
Peace…
Neel
P.S. : Jio is Unavailable, I’ve switched to Vodafone for Data; I think I’ll be fully off the Grid After Govindghat… In such case, my Next update will be on 11th…
